Meet the Instructor: Rebekah

Rebekah aims to understand things deeply, both yogic and scientific, and to share this knowledge in her yoga sessions. Twelve years of yogic study, along with a Master's degree in chemical engineering, and beginners level ayurveda, work together to influence her teaching. The combination of yogic philosophy and science makes Rebekah's yoga classes accessible to contemporary minds.

“Whenever I am in Rebekah's yoga class, I feel every word that comes out of her mouth push my body into feeling opened, relaxed, and free. I have to travel 4 hours to and from her class but it's always worth it when I leave feeling so grateful and inspired.” - Jigar Ganatra

Each ensuite safari cottage / tent sleeps 2 and opens up to beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Everyone can enjoy fireside, starlit evenings and dining together.

Accommodation in Zanzibar

We will be staying at Villa Bahati, a typical Swahili style Villa on the beautiful white sand beach of Jambiani.

The uniquely designed and carefully decorated rooms are built around a colourful courtyard and furnished with antiques from Zanzibar. The swimming pool and yoga shala both overlook the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. The veranda with large dining tables and lounge beds invites you to unwind completely.

Food & Drinks

Embracing the essence of a yogic lifestyle, we wholeheartedly embrace a vegetarian diet, abstaining from alcohol. Throughout your 5 days of safari, vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served. Breakfast starts with fresh fruits, lunch is usually packed for the day's game drive, and dinner offers a delicious variety of options.

During your stay in Zanzibar, breakfasts and dinners are included. For lunch, we believe each person will appreciate the freedom to explore and members of our team will be on hand to direct you to some of our favorite spots. Zanzibar's cuisine, with its local spices, abundance of fresh fruits and seafood, creates a wonderful dining experience.

This stretch of beach also has many spots to enjoy refreshing fruit juices, coconut water, teas, and Italian coffees at any time during the day.
